


Deep, dark, opaque purple color announces that black fruits
dominate the nose and flavor profile of this wine. Complex aromas develop with
air. Blackcherry, Blackcurrant
and earthy mint interplay with licorice, smoke, spicy floral herbs and a
ribbon of graphite. The taste delivers on the nose. Plenty of delicious fruit with a stash of complex supporting flavors. Creamy Blackcherry flavors are supported by earthy ripe tannins that add just enough
texture to let you know this is a serious Cabernet. Layers of floral, herbs, currants licorice and charcoal linger in the
long finish. Excellent balance supports the layers of ripe, full flavors and that haunting spiciness that we find in the BCV vineyard - is it Sage?

Pale golden color with a brightness like a clear gemstone. The youthful nose is fresh and vibrant but layered with expressive complexity. Aromas of fruits and flowers billow up and jockey for position. There’s lemon, lemon peel, candied lemon and then honeysuckle and orange blossom. Look a little deeper and you find melon and kumquat with just a slight hint of sweet taffy oak. The mouthfeel is fabulous – unctuous and textured with a rich weightiness that is perfectly balanced by the fresh buoyant acidity. The flavors expand in the mouth, hit high gear in the lengthy middle and linger through the finish. Melon, citrus and sweet oak are kept fresh and intriguing by the wonderfully balanced acidity. All of this finishes with a subtle, tangy layer of sweet taffy, which is the hallmark of a Dijon Clone Chardonnay, and a toasty, slightly buttered oak nuance that speaks of the French cooperage.
